Drivers License New residents must obtain a Texas driver’s license within 30 days of establishing residency. To obtain a license you must do the following:
* Provide a certified copy of your birth certificate or a valid out-of-state driver’s license
* Pass as vision test
* Be 18 years of age (16-17 year olds may be granted a license upon completion of a certified driver’s education course.
* Pass a written examination.
* Pass a driving skills test (if your out-of-state license has expired). |
